Flight 93 Memorial riddle: why only 38 Memorial Groves?
I'll post the answer next Wednesday, in the first blogburst about Islamic and terrorist memorializing features in the crescent design. Contact Cao if you want to participate.
So riddle me this:
A widely advertised feature of the crescent design is the "40 Memorial Groves":
When controversy over the original Crescent of Embrace name first arose, the entire memorial was even briefly re-titled "40 Memorial Groves."
Why then does the design only include 38 Memorial Groves?
Hint: the crescent symbolizes the Islamic heavens. Not just anyone can be memorialized in the crescent structure. So who IS being memorialized, and how?
Another clue is here. Remember, architect Paul Murdoch is an evil genius. The answer is both straight-forward, and tricky!

That sounds plausible anonymous. But there were only 19 9/11 terrorists. Not 19 x 2. How are you going to turn the 38 into 19?
I think it's either because he can't count...or because there is an expressed purpose for those 38 groves. Calling it 40 would just throw peole off, because who would count them? lol Heck, it LOOKS like 40, give or take a few.
Murdoch can definitely count, because this man is exact in his messaging and intent. This is clearly demonstrated by 44 translucent blocks and 44 dead including the terrorists.
Also, the redundant terrorist memorializing features in the design, the numerous mosque elements, leads me to believe he wants there to be absolutely no doubt that he's achieved victory for the Flight 93 terrorists when this thing is built.

The design is committed to 40 groves, one each to memorialize the victims. It will simply not be built with 38 groves. The families will rise and reject this mistake. A fix will be found.
So either two more groves are added on the east end or the groves are compressed by 5%. There appears to be a space to add 2. This would be the easier design tweak. Then the error is corrected (as it will have to be) and the claim that the grove arc points to DC will be broken.
This will discredit a claim already made by design opponents and partly discredit the attack on the design. It might even be a tipping point.
Then the crescent design is built. A peripheral case against it has discredited its opposition. The result is an enormous red crescent aligned with Mecca. Murdoch can then at least privately resume calling it a "Crescent of Embrace" at gatherings of his peers -- and bask in the glow of a fine wine and of compliments from his peers about the "healing" gesture it conveys.

You are a Great while writing in the blogs it is awesome I liked it too much good and informative thanks for the sharing.
I think this is islamik. I completely accept the above mentioned comment, the web is using question growing inside the biggest medium of communication across the world and as a consequence of sites like this that ideas are spreading so quickly.
